David Kaminski is the Chair of the Financial Services and Class Action Litigation Group at Carlson & Messer LLP in Los Angeles, and focuses his practice in the defense of banks, credit grantors, collection agencies, and asset buyers in all areas of financial services litigation. He regularly speaks at leading industry conventions throughout the U.S regarding the evolving interpretations of consumer protection laws.

David manages the nationwide litigation for numerous financial institutions and collection agencies and has helped shaped the law affecting the rights of collections agencies and creditors throughout the US.   He has developed policies, procedures and training manuals that have minimized the risks of litigation for countless clients.

David was the 2019 ACA Foundation Award Recipient, the 2013-2015 Chair of the Attorneys Division of the ACA International, and the 2016 ACA Int’l. Attorney of the Year. He serves on the Judicial Committee and the ACA Education Foundation.

David successfully defends clients throughout the U.S. in investigations initiated by the CFPB, the FTC, the CA Atty. General’s Office, the Arizona AG’s Office and Dept. of Financial Institutions, the Connecticut Dept. of Banking, and other Federal and State government and regulatory agencies.
